Frequently asked questions
Who does the work?
Each project is handled by a team built for your manuscript: a subject-matter expert with a PhD or MD in your field, a statistician when there are data, a certified medical writer for clinical topics, and a native-English language editor. We do not publish the names of experts or clients: confidentiality runs both ways.
Can I pay only after I see the result?
Yes. You can pay when you order, or contact us and pay after you receive the first draft, only if it meets your expectations. Until payment, the edited text, analyses, tables and figures may not be used.
Do you work with Arabic manuscripts?
Yes. We translate articles from Arabic into English with a subject-matter expert, and we edit English manuscripts written by Arabic-speaking authors. Our team can correspond with you in Arabic.
Can my department or grant pay?
Yes. Editverse issues an official invoice and receipt in the name of the researcher, department or institution, which you can use for research-fund or grant reimbursement.
How long does it take?
English editing takes 3 to 7 working days, translation 5 to 10 and statistical analysis 7 to 15, depending on the package. Shorter timelines can be agreed before work starts.
Are my data and manuscript kept confidential?
Yes. Files and data are used only for your project, are not shared with third parties and can be deleted at your request when the work is complete.
